A query...

Post by DeCav »

Fans from the SV and GC game are meeting afterwards at Cracker Barrel. I got to wondering...who's going to make it their first?

Logic would dictate that GC/SP fans would be sitting at their table having already ordered their food before the SV/BS fans arrived.

Ignoring driving distance from the stadiums to the restaurant, what would make me think this and what do you guys think?

Daniel Thompson and his frisbee catching dawgs are gonna throw the ball all over Old Man McKissick's beach and lengthen this game to around 9:45 at least...Wave/Dawg fans may want to have the GC/SP fans place their orders for them....

Ball control will hopefully keep the BS frisbee show on the sidelines watching instead of on the field catching. Man, I am ready to head over to the field now. Concerning the question at hand, I would agree that the GC SP game will be over before ours. I can also see Summerville going to the air more than they have recently.

Dawgs defense isn't very good...Wave should be able to get the right amount of stops to win it...

I hope you are right GreenDragon but for BS to get it done at The Reservation tells me they are definitely for real and will not be intimidated. I look for a very competitive game.

I think the crowd could be a factor. Went to the second half of the AR-Summerville game last week and that place was loud. Maybe that affects the Dawgs getting their plays in. Summerville's defense gets just enough stops in this one to carry the Wave to the semis. To the point of the thread the Goose Creek crowd might be done with dinner before the Wave posters get to their cars.

You have a better defense than Gaffney. If the Wave plays flat you'll be in a heap of trouble. But if the defense is aggresive and has their laser sights on you'll win this game. On the flip side, if BS somehow puts together a defense this week it might get hairy. Summerville's offense is good but I'm not sure they measure up pound for pound with the potency of BS's offense. I really would LOVE to watch this game. If GC can put away SP in the 1st half I may seriously consider following Newcat over to the SV game at the half. Somehow I don't think I'll have that luxury. GC is a 2nd half team it seems.

It's not so much that they are a second half team. I just think they don't like the first quarter too much.
