I'm pretty sure its been quite a while since either of these teams has made it to a state championship game.
But I'm curious to know what folks think about this one. Seems like it has all the makings of a legendary classic.
Also, being that its Thanksgiving time and all that,,, do we think this one will draw a big crowd?

Not sure how Westside held them to 14 the first time around. I assure you, if the Greenville we saw on Friday is the real Greenville they will win this game. If last weeks team was some kind of elite imposter and the real Greenville is the regular season Greenville then Westside will be making the trip to Orangeburg.

Greenville was inconsistent earlier in the season. They started clicking after the first half of the season.

Greenville can be inconsistent. I mean how can you contrast beating NW on the road one weak after struggling to beat a not very good Greer team that should have been out in the first round anyway. Figure both teams have improved since their meeting earlier in the season. Be interesting.

I disagree with people who use that logic simply because styles make fights. Way too many variables. Anybody can beat Anybody if the right set of circumstances happen. This is also why champions shouldn't be crowned before the games are actually played. No one including me thought NW would lose in the playoffs and look what happened. Is what it is.

One of those was back to back so GHS scored either way. They other i the red zone near end of game did not really hurt at all other than take time off clock. Scored off that one as well
Keep in mind our best WR dropped a pick 6 as a DB
Still heck of a game by both teams and great atmosphere
