Several sports reporters are hearing a coach from Florida will be named.guess we shall see.

This has to be a mistake. DD2 only hires from within the DD2 family....

Former AC Flora coach, and Low Country native(Beaufort) Colin Drafts who is currently at Nease HS in Jacksonville, FL?

Heard a thing or two on that but I can't post it.
Also heard the name Colin also.as well as a gaffney assistant was in the mix.
Sorta a smack t9 coach Smith though.

Colin Drafts is NOT from Beaufort. He is from downtown BURTON! Possum Hill High, not Beaufort High. We do differentiate.

All the speculation is fun to see, but the FD Principal has had his panies in a wild twist ever since the school board backed LaPrad instead of him! This hire is all about power who cares about the school or athletic program! It’s about the Principal making everyone pay that’s apart of Coach LaPrad team and supporters! Congratulations to Brent LaPrap’s new team Ocean Side winning State! Great place for the talent at FD go win the ship sinks and it’s going to sink with the Principal holding a inter tube needs to be a big one!

He got put on the spot in the new hc coaches meeting.
Folded up. He was asked directly about the process ect.diverted and did not answer some staff questions.

If you do things straight up.its easy to answer I did this because of x y and z. Then the questions cease .
This tells me that it's not a straight hire.

I read a really funny statement on social media! Got to share it with the supporters of high school football in the low country in South Carolina! I read the Superintendent of Dorchester 2 was given the top two names for the new head coach and he picked the one! Now do really think someone who has never met the candidates to lead a program like Fort Dorchester would look at two names and pick one if he wasn’t in the interviews! Tell you straight up the committee was given a number not a name of the candidates! One person asked 7 or 8 questions and the interview was over! The Principal then picked his choice and that’s what was recommended to the Superintendent and then to the District Board! So when this program falls apart who are you going to blame the Principal or Superintendent! Merry Christmas Patriots maybe Santa will bring you a special Christmas present
