You can go ahead and pencil in several teams in 1a-3a
Abbeville 1a
Clinton/Chester winner 2a
Bhp vs Dillon/Oceanside 3a
I would even say So Florence wins lower 4A no problem
When you have zero quality depth in each classification this is what you get
3/ 4 classifications max
Essentially they’ve gone to 6 divisions
Heck texas has 7 with 5 times the number of schools
This is plain and simple a money grab by the schsl
“Let’s add another layer ofplayoffs and another championship game that we can dip into.”
Doesn’t matter if ever team gets in the playoffs regardless of record!

5A is going to be confusing. What is the cut off from Big 5A and Little 5A? This new realignment is silly. I'm assuming DF is in the Big 5A group, but I wouldn't be silly enough to bet on it. Insanity. Doesn't matter. DF will do just fine. Good pool of talent for the next two or three years in the pipeline, and I believe Knotts stays at least until his son graduates....maybe longer. We shall see.

Anyone have the 5A list by school size…I’d like to know where Gaffney would be on the list…It’s going to a shame if we are stuck in lower division..No more Gaffney VRs Byrnes/ Dutch Fork/Spartanburg/etc playoff games just don’t seem right…For example..I don’t think anyone wants to see a undefeated Gaffney team, with the schedule we play, not getting the opportunity to play against the big boys in the playoffs..I know I wouldn’t..Northwestern probably feels the same..

There is a list of numbers on page 2 of the forum.
Gaffney is in the lower half.
Looks to me like a battle between them and Northwestern for the little 5A upperstate.

So that is the list with the multiplier already included?

I can tell you for certain Wade Hampton doesn’t have as many students as Gaffney
What a debacle!

Is Fort D, Summerville, Dorman, Spartanburg and Hanna in the big 5A group?

If they go strictly by the numbers and split it. And when your talking about the schsl that’s a big if
Then all of those schools with the exception of T l Hanna would be big 5A or upper 5A
Can we come up with a name that’s agreeable to everyone involved
Btw looking at the numbers Hanna happens to be right below your favorite school of all time
The Green Wave
Again it’s a debacle!
