What does this mean? Are they being shut down at the end of the year? Will they have to operate as a public school now?

Another management group will take it over. I heard they hated whatever charter group they were with and wanted to switch.

Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. The State Legislature won’t let a charter school shutter its doors without exhausting all of its resources. Apparently, the new one in Lexington is in major debt, but someone will come to its rescue.
