SNOWING IN THE UPSTATE

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

I can honestly say that I don't remember watching a High School game in the snow?

Of course I can honestly say that I don't remember a lot of things any more....

Friday night will be long johns, extra shirts, big jacket, ear muffs, stocking cap, gloves, etc.

At my age, I no longer feel the need to show off my manliness by dressing like a fool. I see layered clothing for WARMTH!! :D

I agree completely!! At age 73 I don't care what I look like, I just want to stay as warm as I can.

Only high school game I can remember seeing snow was back in in the good ole days of the Weekend of Champions when there was 1 game on Friday and 4 on Saturday.

The first game was 1A and started at 11 a.m. It was barely snowing one year as I watched the first half of Ninety Six and Lamar.

Only other time I've watched any sporting event in the snow was a Cubs-Reds baseball game in Cincinnati in the opening week of the season.
