Spring Ball

Have seen some limited video on DF for this spring and summer camps. Think they won the USC 7 on 7, but that means about squat typically. Offensive and defensive skill positions look solid and some good depth. Offing has the makings of an excellent QB, but I do hope to see Knotts and Smith take some snaps- both bring something a little different. Anderson looks strong at RB- big, strong and fast. Depth at WR and TE- Boykin, Westbrook, Miller...etc. Defense...solid linebackers in Salters and Williams and Elgin Sessions leading the secondary.
Offensive and defensive line looks big, strong and deep. Couple big OTs - 6'7" 305 (Benson) and 6'5" 290 (Roberts). Didn't make them like that when I was a kid...lol. McFadden has returned to OL from a year at TE and he looks solid. Have a freshman that looks to be hard to keep off the field 6'2" 275- Lorenzo...if he stays healthy and motivated he might be something special. Defensive line...all I can say to the opponents is good luck...the edge players Josh Smith and Julian Walker- lookout! Interior DL Fulmer is back- big and strong 6'4" 290...transfer from a state champion team in Illinois Luciano Cesario - DE/DT was the defensive MVP in the title game- will be a good anchor for DL.
A lot of the underclassmen had the chance to start last season given issues and injuries so hopefully it bodes well. Looking for big things from these young men.
