Good scrimmage 15-14 NW.
DF had the ball late but running clock ran out before FG range. Will make both teams better. Offing needs to work off the baseball rust. It will come back to him.
I suspect both teams will be playing at Thanksgiving.

I listened to the stream from the WRHI app ( yes...shameless plug for the app :D )

Sounded like two pretty well matched up teams with successes, failures, mistakes, and great plays.

If you want to be the best, you have to play the best.

Sounded like a definite "win" for both programs to learn from.

Go Trojans!

Two good teams. Am sure he will but Knotts need to get his offensive line fixed.

Dutch Fork and Northwestern Looked Really Good

Northwestern offense is going to put some points up; no doubt.

Dutch Fork ran and passed it well. You absolutely will not be able to focus on stopping one and giving them the other.

#41 for DF - Has to have offers? I didn't even look; but no way he doesn't.

Northwestern you can tell has done a few wrinkles to their version of the Air Raid. Going to be a fun season.

Stallions and Bearcats Looked "pretty good"!

Hard to judge because; the opponents for both are "questionable"! Palisades looks like the typical Charlotte-Mecklenberg team though - big!

Hunter Huss - not sure what they had going on besides a really good QB, WR and two nice CB's. They have good team speed; but didn't look to be in great shape "yet"! They might be good once everyone gets in "football shape"!

RH - is going to be a tough out for opponents "other than South Pointe"! They always give the Stallions issues(most years recently). They have a nice offense finally. WR's had far too many drops though. The crazy thing that you have to look at is that "the ball was there for them almost every time". They start catching the ball with some consistency and they will beat some people they shouldn't.

Stallions have really nice talent and "the potential" to be solid as usual. The QB shuffle had me a bit confused and concerned. The old timer football saying is: "if you have two-qb's then you have none"!

The OL and everyone else can't get used to one set of nuances that each QB has. Looks like it will come down to who is more consistent moving the ball in non-region, "I guess"!
Good WR's with some nice size/speed combination. MPH - didn't play and wasn't needed - but hopefully is ready to go for the 1st game. Stallions will do fine for the majority of the schedule. But, as always, it's about getting into the tournament and then playing well in November and hopefully early December. The talent again appears to be there.
