Give me your thoughts, can Spartanburg find any offense at all? will they stay healthy? who's gonna be the QB?

how is #0 gonna do at QB for South Pointe, will he still play defense as well? South Pointe has not looked like themselves since Holloman left.

Right now i'm thinking this is gonna be a slug it out type of game, the first one to 10 is probably gonna win.

Greerfan1 - such an accurate statement about South Pointe - I agree!

Spartanburg will always have really good players you know that going in. Wondering if they have the same hangup as South Pointe currently?

That is to say: "how are they being prepared"?

Stallions - "YOU ARE WHAT YOU STRESS. AND, EXPECT WHAT YOU TOLERATE"!

Offense has been the Stallions thing when the other team is A: just as athletic or B: well coached with at least some athleticism.

Most everyone else; the athletic prowess the Stallions have is often enough! My thing is; "You Can't Bank On That"!

Should be a good contest! Hoping the offense can get some continuity to it and stack some drives together! Give the defense some rest and time to make adjustments typically and South Pointe is good to go.

Can't call it as I haven't heard hardly anything about the Vikings! So, i'lll just go with Stallions by 1 pt.

Holloman won a State Championship, lets not forget that.

It looks like South Pointe is going to be a One Trick Pony again this year with Bobby Collins as head Coach, with run the ball, run the ball, and run the ball, also running with small running-backs. SP had a good passing Quarterback transfer in, but when your Head Coach is a running offensive minded Coach, he does not think about protecting his best asset, which is the Quarterback, QB tore his ACL in the spring practice.

Wow! I didn't know about the transfer QB.
I don't doubt it played out exactly as you said though.

People out there who keep thinking it's about just having good players only "are uninformed".

You have to have the right person who sets the tone of accountability for the program as a whole. Coaches and players. And, that person has an unshaking will to win! Meaning; oh well, if it means more time studying film. Or spending extra time to get through to a kid.

Not saying this isn't happening "on some level currently because I don't know". I just know, South Pointe didn't run out of talent the last few years suddenly.
As the saying goes: The Devil Is In The Details! We are losing games on The Details!

Here is the Transfer Quarterback that is from Rock Hill, his mother was a teacher at Fairfield that is why he was playing there, he has an impressive passing record. https://www.heraldonline.com/sports/art ... 28060.html

Would you consider Collins to be on the hot seat? I'm not close to the program and it's not all about wins and losses but South Pointe does seem to be on a downward trend. As of now I would say they are clearly behind Northwestern and Rock Hill (something I never thought I would type out)
