DF has another tough game coming up. RV gave NW a good game Friday. Expect another tough game. Have to see what happens.

Dutch Fork vs Ridge View
Re: Dutch Fork vs Ridge View
Ridge View has a lot of offensive fire power. I think they will win 0 games this year including playoffs, but not this week. DF can’t over look them and they won’t.
Re: Dutch Fork vs Ridge View
Hopefully, DF defense will be up to the challenge. Both the offense and defense need to fix a few issues from the first game with Spartanburg. RV is always a tough out.

This is going to be a good one especially at first but I think Dutch Fork will pull away, I'm thinking Dutch Fork wins in a 28-10 type of game.

Remember in my former life I was a diplomat. Still remember a little.
Offense needs to work on some minor things . Defense seems to be okay.

Y’all will win this 2 plus scores. RV is one of those teams that seem to hurt themselves at the worst possible time.DFOLDMAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 8:46 pmlol… no way, DubDdub14 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 4:05 pmIs TK teaching coach speak classes to the fans down there?

Re: Dutch Fork vs Ridge View
Hope you are right. RV always plays well against DF it seems. This DF team doesn't have any "stars", for the lack of a better word, like in the past with a Hyatt, Thompson, Williams or Green...just a lot of depth and players that seem to understand their role and trust the system- I don't think an opposing team could bank on stopping solely the run or the pass as a way to beat them- they are fairly balanced. Offing is a good QB, but like Olenchuk and Taylor, I think baseball is his favorite sport- but KJ Smith and Jaxon Knotts are good backups. A crew of good receivers and tight ends, some depth at OL, a couple of good RBs- so I think DF can move the ball and score. Some penalties and an INT I think cost them some points in the Spartanburg game.Ddub14 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 9:15 pmY’all will win this 2 plus scores. Defense seems to be a little ahead of the offense at the moment. DL has some depth and they rotate 6 or 7 players along the front. They are fast- although not really big, though Fulmer is "full grown" at 6'4"-290ish- throw in Walker, Williams, Cesario, Steed, Norris etc- they get the job done. Knotts seems to have moved Josh Smith from DE to LB which looks to be a good move- him, Salters and Jackson give them a good corps of LBs. Sessions and the Smiths anchor a good secondary... Offing is pretty good punter and Welch is a top notch kicker. All things considered...pretty good shape. Just have to wait and see...

If last season was any indicator DF may stink up the field this week. Hopefully they can play consistently good football this season.
