Philip Simmons beat Beaufort last night 31-20 in a game played in steady rain for most of the night. It was a really sloppy game. TURNOVERS were the main reason why Beaufort lost this game. In fact, A LOT OF TURNOVERS hurt Beaufort in this game. TURNOVERS is the main reason why Beaufort falls to 0-3 on the season. If Beaufort doesn't clean up these TURNOVERS soon, then this will be a very long season.

Also on top of those TURNOVERS, Beaufort lost another one of their Star Players to an Injury. Beaufort's starting QB Samari Bonds got hurt and left the game late in the first half. Beaufort lost Star WR Amare Patterson to an Injury in last's week's game against Greenwood. I don't know how long each player will be out for. But, I wish both players a speedy recovery.

Even after all of this, I still think that Beaufort has a good team this season and should make some noise in Region 6 4A and the Playoffs. But The Eagles need to cut out all of these TURNOVERS and the Defense needs to quit giving up some big plays.

I want to say that I think that Philip Simmons is a well-coached team. The Ironhorses looked pretty good I thought. Good luck to the Ironhorses on the rest of their season!

I know that it is easy for a football team to be really down after an 0-3 start to the season. But, I hope that Beaufort learns from these mistakes and correct them going forward. There is still a lot to play for including a Region 6 4A Title, 4A Lower State Title, and the 4A State Title. I know that Beaufort has a great Coaching Staff and they will have My Eagles ready to play next week against Goose Creek.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

BEF, what was the injury to the QB? When do you think he and Rec will be back? Was looking forward to seeing the QB in a couple of weeks at Bluffton. #GoBobcats

It looked to be his Ankle. Hopefully, him and our receiver will be back before the Region Games start. Our Region looks like it is going to be a fun one with Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, and May River.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
