I officiated youth basketball for 12 years. I will admit that I got caught up in a few plays. Sometimes you just react or the play just sucks you right into it. Hahahaha

I was umpiring a men’s softball game 2 summers ago, I was behind the plate, foul ball got popped up and I caught it out of instinct. I felt like a fool, but everybody got a good laugh out of it.
