Abbeville at 96

this will be the 74 th. game between these
two . The Panthers lead 57-15-1 . I wish my
Wildcats could hang with them but i just
don't see it. I think my Wildcats may pick up
2 or 3 first downs but i don't think they will
score . 96 has absolutely no threat of a passing
game so the Panthers can load up at the line of
scrimmage and t off . My Wildcats has some hard
running backs but they will take a beating from
the Panthers . i doubt 96 defense will slow the
Panther offense down . I know my Wildcats will
give all they have . GO GET'EM WILDCATS!

Glad to hear that 96 may not have big passing threat as pass defense has been our weakness. B-L beat us with success through the air, 266 yards, got behind us a couple of times. A-town offense has not been slowed down by anyone yet. This may be the last somewhat competitive game we have until late November, if then, thanks to the unfortunate drop in class.

There is never a good time to play Abbeville but this is a really bad time to play them as they are coming off a loss last week.
Good luck 96, will be an uphill battle though!

I am going to this game tonight. Number 8 and 23 for 96 are good running backs but they play both ways so they hardly ever left the game when they played Emerald. Last year the 96 QB could run and pass . I don't think 96 tried even 1 pass against Emerald this year so all the marbles are in the running game. Hard to beat Abbeville just running the ball unless you have a great offensive line and one heck of a defense.

96 played hard, played well, Abb just too many weapons on offense. We need to work on the defense during this long break, I'm sure we will. Those 2 running backs for 96 are good, their offense is just too one dimensional and their defense didn't stop us even once. By my calculation, we are averaging 44.5 pts per game vs two AA and two AAA teams. Long break and then the Class A schedule.

My Wildcats did much better than i expected
on offense .They played the 1st half with no
penalties .Been a long time since they did that.
Abbeville only had 1 off side in 1st half.
The Panthers with just to much team speed.
If you are going to stay with Abbeville you have
to score every time you get the ball. If my Wildcats
can play better defense and continue not
having many penalties they can be in the rest of
the games this year.
