MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Myrtle Beach football team started the season 1-3. Coach Mickey Wilson believes the slow start motivated his squad and now the Seahawks’ improbable playoff run is still alive.
Myrtle Beach contained a pungent Marlboro County offense Friday night in the Class 3A Lower State finals for a 20-6 victory and now the Seahawks will be playing in their fourth state championship game in six years.
