Big matchup this week to kick off our region schedule as we take on our rivals Seneca.

My Lions come into this one off a bounce back win against Clinton where the team did a great job stifling a good run offense and our offense continued to roll. Very good to see coming off a loss and a BYE.

Seneca is coming into this game with a perfect 5-0 record. Last week they destroyed TR in their region opener 63-12. They also have wins over Powdersville, Woodmont and the Oconee County schools.

I think it’ll be a very interesting game. Daniel has been the better team the last 7 years and still is the better team but Seneca’s DC was on the Daniel staff for the 20 and 21 state titles so he’s gonna have his defense prepared but I still don’t think it will be enough to take us down.

You should beat Seneca fairly easy. Christmas came early for the them when they played Pville. We gifted them that game. That's what happens when you let teams hang around. They def look better than they have in the past but still not enough to beat DWD IMO. For and old guy like me I want to see them be better. Football was alot more fun back when Sitterle and Bass were dukin' in out.

This will be win 50 for DWD over Seneca. I expect it to come in a big way.

I don't see Seneca hanging around much past halftime. I think Daniel starts to pull away and puts it away for good early in the 4th.

Lol it's more fun to bring out the hate on the bob kittens when they have a fighting chance. I think this will be 8 in a row for DWD? I really do feel this was a better rivalry when both teams were solid and it was anyone's game. Someone mentioned Sitt vs. Bass, but even late 2000s early 2010s was great games both teams thought they'd win each year
