5A Bracket Projection (Look at First Post for bracket) and last post for new comments

OK, I updated the PLAYOFF Bracket for 5A as of 10/19. I break all ties alphabetically or flip of a coin because it is too early to go knee deep in the details and all Regions do their own thing when it comes to a tie... Region One is WIDE OPEN now and Greenwood has a chance to turn my projection to mush on Tuesday if they win.

I'd be shocked if anyone beats the fighting Tk's this year, that defense is scary good.

I think it comes down to Dutch Fork and Summerville in Orangeburg for all the marbles this year I think that Summerville is the only team that could possibly take a shot at them although I honestly think Gaffney would've beaten them this year for the title but we will never know how that will play out

Summerville's issue will be our defense. Offensively we can score however with DF only giving up 1.8 points a game
, our offensive production will likely be limited. On the flip side DF's offense seems to be solid so I could see them putting up 40 on our defense as it stands today. 2 of the 4 games we have played, the opponent has scored over 30 points(Chapin and Berkeley). It will be interesting to see how Chapin performs against DF next week as that is a team Summerville defeated last week 53 - 32.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say DF will whip Chapin's backside if history tells us anything.... 41-8, 51-0, 69-21, 51-12, 55-10, 55-10, 70-7....you get the gist of it. What is that roughly...56-10 each game since Chapin moved to 5A?
TK living rent free in Chapin's head...I'm going to say it won't be close...but we will just have to wait and see.

Wouldn't be close at this point. They can't stop the DF offense. I haven't seen a team in the tricounty that could slow down DFs offense much less stop it.
They have the O to rule the roost around here .
In 4 or 6 weeks it may be different.
There's not a lot of defense in our area right now .only one with offense.

Wow. 5A-II Lower State looks pretty weak.
#1 Berkeley
#2 Irmo
#3 West Florence
#4 Goose Creek
My guess would be Irmo vs Northwestern or Gaffney, with the upper-state taking home the win.
