I thought that Beaufort back-up QB Caleb Stephan had a great game leading the Eagles Offense. He was starting for Beaufort's main QB Samari Bonds who was out injured. Stephan had 2 TD Passes and he rushed for a TD. Beaufort RB Elias Johnson and WR Qualeek Isnar both had great games. Beaufort's Will Codding had a monster game for the Eagles on both Offense and Defense.
I thought that Beaufort's Defense played one of their best games of the season. The Eagles "D" held The Cougars to only about 100 yards of total offense. Hopefully, they will keep playing like that for the rest of the season.
Beaufort still hasn't had a two-back formation yet this season. I still hope to see it because I think the Eagles will do great mixing it in with all their other formations.
It was great Football weather this past Friday. It was a cool night. I was very disappointed in the crowd on both sides. But the Colleton County Band of Blue sounded awesome!
Next up for Beaufort is a Home Game in The Eagles Nest next Friday Night against Bishop England in a very important Region 6 4A Game. Hopefully, My Eagles will continue their winning ways in this game and for the rest of the season.
