Sumter HS Seniors

I'm porting this over from my post on SCVarsity. It was off the top of my head over there. But I really think some of y'all as parents yourselves will appreciate it.
"I'm really proud of the blue 'n gold Gamecocks for bringing a winning attitude back to Sumter. It has been a tough couple of years but they endured. All this excitement surrounding the team has got me thinking about the last four years. The Seniors on this team were still in middle school when Curtis/McDowell and company played Byrnes for the ring, they endured losing seasons every year until this one, and they never got to beat Crestwood. But here they are, getting ready to play the biggest game of their young lives in the big stadium... And for better or for worse that's where these boys' high school years will come to an end. They might have been the sleeper team to a lot of folks, but they have been my pick each and every Friday... and now on Saturday... go Gamecocks."
