After a close game against the pesky rebels the Indians will now head south on 85 to take on the Riverside Warriors in a region match up that will be interesting to see how well the offense does after struggling to find any points this past Friday. Gaffney's defense held Byrnes in check and only game up 35 yards of offense to those pesky rebels last Friday night at the reservation.

Offense had a bad night struggled to get things going through the air were able to run the ball just couldn't get the passing game going seems like after the half the coaches lit a fire under them boys and they came out and played better but still not playing to the potential though

Is it the WRs injuries that are hurting the passing game? You guys got one of the top QBs in the state and the OL is top notch.

I wondered the same thing or if it was a case of "it's Riverside we know we'll beat them." Looking at the Box Score it's pretty much even. Riverside isn't terrible but one would thing Gaffney would dispatch them comfortably. One of two things is going to happen...Gaffney is going to wake up and wipe everyone out or they're going to slip up and lose to someone they have no business losing to. They're my head scratcher team this year. No disrespect just my observation.

I think it was is Riverside we will beat the brakes off of them and they were looking ahead to Dorman this team is very good the OL has struggled but I think that has been worked and tweaked on. I honestly believe that the problem is the hurricane has put a hurting on us we weren't able to practice a whole lot and wasn't able to stay in game shape if that makes sense those 2 weeks off hurt

Gaffney will be fine come playoff time, I still think they have to be the favorite along with Northwestern for the 5A division 2 championship.

Oh yea Im not worried just wish that there wouldn't have been a 2 week pause in the season I honestly think that it stalled out the momentum we were carrying and the reps on the practice field and in game situations but it is what it is and the kids and coaches will get it going it reminds me of the start of the season all over again lol
