Sumter is flying under the radar. Someone going to have to deal with them in the lower state playoffs.
They are 8 and 0 .they should be in the top 5 or 6 discussion for sure.

I agree with you justafan… Sumter is a legit contender to win lowerstate in 5a. I don’t think anyone beats DF this year. Seen them twice this season in person and all I can say is geez.

I agree they are a monster .I hate to see knotts across the field but I admire what he does.

This is nothing new for Sumter. We win our region every year and usually are undefeated or maybe 1 lost during the season. We just can't get through the playoffs.

I don't know much about Sumter, but from looking at MaxPreps it looks like they've beaten everyone pretty good expect for the White Knoll game.

Is Sumter little 5A? If so, I could easily see them making it to the finals. Little 5A lower state is the easiest bracket of any classification. There isn’t anybody much there

They are Div I. Their adjusted SCHSL ADM rank is #13.
