Dutch Fork @ River Bluff- November 1st

DF has a week off after the 42-0 win over Lexington and plays River Bluff away on November 1st. The Lexington game was not the Silver Foxes best outing, and you tell TK was not pleased at the end of the game- but a 42-point win is a 42-point win.

Next up is River Bluff in two weeks. They are 7-1 with an overtime win over White Knoll and a tough loss to Irmo. RB is typically a run-oriented offense, but their QB Murray seems to be slinging the ball around more this season and has good senior receivers in Griffin and Collier. Their biggest offensive weapon is the RB Myers who is averaging almost 120 yards a game rushing the ball. Offense is pretty potent averaging about 370 yards a game and scoring 31 points a game and defense is allowing 20 points a game. TK has an extra week to coach the Foxes up and prepare for this game. Never know what is going through the mind of a teenager, so you never know what will happen. We will have to wait and see.

Let me hear your thoughts.

Another blowout. RB won’t be able to block them

RB stadium is a great place to watch football. RB has a good team this season with their only loss coming to Irmo. Need DF to play a complete game on both sides of the ball. Let me know how you see this game going.

Dutch Fork will have the clock running by the start of the 3rd quarter, should be another 42-50 point W.

TK and the Silver Foxes are continuing their tour of the Greater Lake Murray Megalopolis. River Bluff...I hope you boys spent more time in the gym and less time on the jet skis this summer... Foxes are coming to the Swamp. Be ready.

You are giving RB much more credit than they deserve. Yes, they are better than what they were last year, but they aren’t anywhere close to the level they would have to be to challenge an elite program

The Collier kid is a ball player. It won't matter, Foxes by 35.

Collier is a ball player.... I suspect Sessions will cover him, and he is a lock down guy big enough and fast enough to hang with Collier- I think the real problem is will the RB QB have any time at all to look for a receiver- DF D-line gets after a QB. DF run defense is stout as well and the RB RB is going to have a hard time finding space to run. I think the RB defense is better than last season, but I also believe DF offense is a little better as well and that may be problematic for the Gators...have to wait and see what happens.
