Slick, good luck getting to 700. I use to love going to games. Me and my friends would load in the car and just drive to some random game. We went all over the state. Our original goal was to hit a game at every school. We haven't done much the last few seasons. Covid killed us going to games. So many schools went to online tickets and we never planned that far ahead.

At one time, we kept a list of all the stadiums we went to and it was extensive. We saw some great players, we saw some great stadium, and we ate some GREAT concession stand food! I miss those days, but times change and priorities shift to other things.

actually still keep the many stadiums with the stags I have been to, it is up to 99, we went to st james in 2021 for 99. if I could have made it to fla this year would have been a 100. still looking for 100. been to so mnay in this state it would have to be a very new stadium or school. still go but its like breathing, its still my friday night, but the thrill is defintely gone, especially losing my last partner after 33 years but still feel the need to continue the count but its much harder now. Dont mine buying tickets on line, easier to me.

We would rotate who drove each week. We’d also change how we picked games. Some weeks would be a vote, some weeks it would be a random draw from a hat, some weeks it would be based on what school was closer to where we wanted to eat.

I can’t remember how many stadiums I was up to, but it was enough that I had some schools listed as old stadium and new stadium.

I don’t know you slick I’ve never met you. I’m hoping you can keep on going and make it past 700 games. Thank you for all the support you have given to high school football. I couldn’t imagine going to a game without thinking of you.

I’m so sorry about your children having cancer praying for you and your family. God bless you brother. Hang in there slick.

many prayers sent for you and your family these past few years cuzzo. really hate what you've gone thru and are still going thru.

don't ever give up, keep fighting and hit that lifelong goal of 700. you've made it so much closer than 99% of others. make it your mission each day to rejuvenate yourself! get that blood pumping, get out and keep moving!
