With the season wrapping up just curious to what HFC jobs will be open…
Obv Gaffney is opening up, along with several others with interims, I believe Byrnes will be open as well, where else am I missing?

It would not completely come as a shock if the Mid Carolina job opened up.

From SC Scoop on Twitter:
Nation Ford
Keenan
Oceanside
Midland Valley
Aiken
All started this season with an interim HC. Will have to see if they remove the interim tag or not for those places.

I think Keenan will stick with who they have. They put a decent season together with the short time they had after the interim tag was added.

Aiken = 0-10
Midland Valley = 4-6
Oceanside = 6-3
Keenan = 6-4
Nation Ford = 2-8
Will be curious to see what these schools do.

Keenan is 1 win away from matching the best season they've had since making the state championship back in 2014, I don't see that staff going anywhere.
Every school Oceanside lost to is undefeated, I think they also stay the course with the interim.
Aiken has won 1 game in 3 seasons, not sure where they go from here.
Nation Ford might look to hire, but that's a tough situation to walk into. Going to take a strong coach to compete year in and year out.
Midland Valley was coming off a 12-1 season, so yes they will look to hire outside. That's not a bad job.

Not sure where Nations Ford goes after their longtime HC resigned mid-season. McManus is the interim and figure he would want the job. Tough job.
Not sure if they will make a change, but I think the guy at neighboring Fort Mill has a record of like 6-60 over his tenure.
Neither of these schools will ever be an elite team but both should be better than they are. But Fort Mill seems to be a bit like Greenville County in their lack of support for football.

I really hate that the school board would not let Coach Chaptman come back to Midland Valley after the county dropped the charges against him. He went to a couple of the board meetings, but they would not drop his suspension.
He led the 12-1 season last year and the JV team went undefeated too.
I think we would have had a better season had they let him come back. He may not apply again after the season after the way the board did him. He really just wanted his teams back.
Sadly, because of the board, I think we are going to lose the best coach we have had at MV in years.

Gaffney is open after this season due to the retiring of Coach Jones. I think that this job may go to someone already on the staff but there will be coaches that will apply from all over the southeast.

As of now, the only openings that weren't an interim is Spring Valley, Southside and AF.
Per SCScoop on Twiter:
Aiken, Allendale-Fairfax, Nation Ford, Oceanside, Southside, Spring Valley and Midland Valley are open.
Any thoughts on who will take / put in for these jobs, and who else will open? Obviosuly Gaffney whenever their season concludes.
