After beating Dreher last week 45-14 we welcome Richland Northeast to town for our first ever matchup with the Cavaliers. When comparing teams common opponents both teams defeated Seneca but RNE lost to Dreher in their region matchup and that tells me a lot about what to expect Friday.

I know they have a very good QB and I would expect a similar start out of them that Dreher had last week where they come out swinging but they will not be able to keep up over the course of the game.

Can the Lions defense contain the RNE QB and keep him from hit the big plays on a consistent basis. I think they can and think that the defense is very capable of doing so. This is a big time game and the games are only goin to get harder as you move on. Daniel is a complete team and I think they win by 14

Their QB didn't play against Dreher so be careful using that as a transitive comparison. DWD has the potential to see the 3 of the top 5 QBs in the state over the next 3 weeks if they keep winning.

Came here to say precisely this. They likely beat Dreher by 2 TD with him.

I know Daniel folks are plenty familiar with Camden from the past few state championships/playoffs... RNE handled Camden by 11 this year. That's probably a better point of comparison than Dreher.

I see a close game into the 4th until a late Daniel score ices it. Something like 38-28, Lions.

I think I’m more worried about this one than any game so far this season, including Mann.

The quarterback is legit and with Daniel still trying to get half of its secondary back on the field so it could make for a long night. I’d like to think playing in the cold will help the Lions but they really have been hit or miss in the run game.

I feel like this one could play out like Westwood in 2019 and go down to the wire.

RNE would year in and year out field good teams.... went through a slump...long slump. Actually, kind of forgot about them. Looks like they are playing better ball this season and last season. Now Spring Valley is the dumpster fire in NE Cola.

D. Wistar should win this one though...RNE QB or no QB. About like the Stratford game.

RNE has the potential to throw up some pretty big numbers. Unfortunately they have the potential to give up a lot of points as well. Saw them play AC Flora last year in a game where the score was 75-58 RNE. Looks real interesting on paper for sure. Good luck to both teams.

Wilson (RNE): 20-35, 370, 2 TD/0 Int in the air; 25-136, 3 TD on the ground.

And Daniel was up just 6 w/ under 5 min, until the late Conn TD iced it.

We pretty much nailed this one, eh?
