I’m from Greenville so I root for all Greenville teams. I saw JL Mann play twice this year. Last night & against Gaffney. I heard great things about the freshman QB Tripp Bryant & last night I wasn’t disappointed. I don’t remember seeing him play in the Gaffney game so correct me if I’m wrong. Spartanburg defense is elite and did a great job on him so I’m definitely not taking anything away from them. I’m just looking towards the future because I can see this kid leading JL Mann to a championship if Scoot the recruit surrounds him with talent.

Watson shouldn’t have any issues there. His only competition in that area was Porter and don’t think he can recruit GC very successfully from Laurens. Hillcrest might dabble here and there, but not a lot. Greer is still decent to a point, but the rest of GC schools almost look at football with a don’t care mindset. The majority of schools are just awful. So I don’t see anything disturbing the Mann recruiting pipeline
