I wish him all the best. It will be a tough job to change the culture from band towards football.

I don’t know him or much about NAFO, except I’m glad they are in our region for an active bye each year.
I do wish him the best and a lifetime of success.
Given the niceties. A 5A school who higher a guy with one year of experience as a co-offensive coordinator at a dumpster fire program tells me they are not serious about football. Especially when said school had an experienced cosch with a successful track record in the building who wanted the job and bailed them out last year.
I understand Bentley played at the highest level and his father has a legendary reputation, but none of that means he’s ready to be a HC at this level. Hopefully he will surprise me. My expectation is he needed HC on his resume and if can be competitive for a year he’s gone up the ladder. It’s a stepping stone move.

I couldn't have put it better to be honest. The hype video on twitter showing his college highlights is cringe worthy. Plus. I agree with what you said. 1 year as a Co-OC now you're ready for a dumpster fire? I can't believe the "interim" coach even wanted the job.NHSTrojan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 7:30 pmI don’t know him or much about NAFO, except I’m glad they are in our region for an active bye each year.
