Stewart Young announced as new Lexington Head Coach
Stewart Young just got announced as the new head coach at Lexington High School. He's been at Saluda for a LONG time now, and he turned that program completely around. 5 Upper State championship appearances, a 2A State Championship in 2019. He is a championship-caliber coach on any level. After he won a state title, I kept wondering what was keeping him at Saluda. Why wasn't he jumping ship for a bigger program? Well, Saluda loves him, and they should be thankful for the time they had with him. He waited patiently for the right job, and boy, has Lexington gotten themselves a good one. Congrats to him and to Lexington. Now what does Saluda do to fill such tremendous shoes?

Be interesting to see who all throws their names in the hat. Maybe Tank Coleman. Been an assistant at ST (played at ST and USC) and has been an assistant at Saluda for a few years now.
