All the holidays, Christmas Musical at church, etc, etc,
Loads of work (plenty of OT and even some travel)
Teaching couple of classes in my "off time"
New Grandson!!!! (Best part of the tough months)
Wife health issues and surgery (worst part of the tough months)
Just not enough hours in a day, nor days in a week to cram it all in there.....
But, I made it!!! More importantly, WE made it.... wife has come through surgery and is ahead or on schedule with the plan laid out by the doctor.... His plan looks just like the operation plans we used in the Navy when we did troop deployment from the USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA 3). Our plan had "H" Hour ( the exact hour we launched the attack) and H +1 was one hour later, H +2 two hours later. He has S Day for Surgery day and that day was laid out by hours, then after that, by days. She was not expected to go home until S +4, but made it home on S +3, etc, etc.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year and I'm glad to be back!
What a tough couple of months!

That's the plan... take it one day at a time, get better, get healthy, then be able to do the treatments for her lungs. So far, all we've been treating are the side effects from the steroids, which nearly killed her. Steroids can do great things, but there is a cost associated with using them! And I'm only referring to the legally administered ones.... God knows what could happen to someone taking them illegally! Those guys are crazy!!!!
