You know, there is no reason we have to wait until Columbia or the Shrine Bowl to have get togethers.

I will say this, anyone coming to Duncan for a Rebel game is welcome to join me for the game. EHSMeanGreen joined us last year, GOBIGGREEN and some of those low country crazies came to the Byrnes-Gaffney game a few years back, even brough of Goose Creek Jim with them....

Continuing a tradition, I'm going to visit somewhere this year for a game or maybe two. I've been to a game at Gaffney {matter of fact the opening of the new Reservation against Dorman}, been to Beaufort, Boiling Springs, and this year, I've got plans {TOP SECRET LOCATION AND DATE} and I'm looking at one more potential trip if not two {depending on how things develop during the season}. <-- one advantage of having Riverside on the schedule is I'm free to travel that weekend. {As Larry the Cable Guy would say "Lord forgive me..."} I really hope Riverside gets better, but it has been sad for the past few years, but Mauldin was like that not too long ago and I don't think anyone this time last year was picking Hillcrest to win Region One!

I missed you at the Apopka game last year. I had one of the guys snap a picture of me sitting in your normal spot on the top row, but that phone died not too long after that.

Our game was in Clover that Friday, instead of driving back to Florence I drove to Duncan and spent the night. That was one dreadfully hot day, but it was a great game. I don't know when I'll find an excuse to catch a game over on that end of the state again. Our open date is in week 3 and Byrnes will be in California.

Are you going to De La Salle? If not what are you planning for that Friday?
