It's still Way Too Early, but Week One Bracket Projection

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

Like this isn't going to change a hundred times in the next ten weeks.....

But, there are at least two people who like this, so here goes:

Region One seemed like a two horse race in my mind, but neither horse is a clear cut favorite so I'll stay with the status quo:
HILLCREST

Region Two, is there any doubt who I will pick? The only real question is who do I have finishing second to the Rebels.... Boiling Springs at #2

Region Three is Northwestern at #1 and York nipping at their heels. Gaffney -vs- Rock Hill to determine 3rd place

Region Four: Let me see.... how can I put this a be politically correct... I can't. It's Dutch Fork by light years over the rest of them.

Region Five - Good Lord, would someone step up and take control? North Augusta since I have to pick someone...

Region Six - I was {key word here "WAS"} sold on South Florence, but I have to wonder now, was SF that bad or Fort Dorchester just that good?

Region Seven - I'm still solidly on my Low Country bandwaqon team: GOOSE CREEK

Region Eight is Summerville, {I'm still not picking Fort Dorchester so all the Fort D folks are dancing in the street!} Every time I pick them, they fall apart!

That gives us:

Who would have thunk it....Gaffney and Summerville yet again :P! The playoffs would just not be complete without our two teams going at it in the playoffs. One question, if Providence ends the season with a winning record, will Summerville claim an extra 1/2 playoff point as they have over 2000 students(at least according to their web page)? I have not seen the official NC numbers.

I would say yes based on what I've been able to figure out, I also have them as Big 16 but I don't have a clue as to what their record will be...

That is the biggest issue with the projections this season, so many more out of state games and determining if they are Big 16, AAAA, AAA, or what.

I was wondering that myself. :? Probably some of both. I'm guessing our kids weren't talking about the state-wide polls and eye-balling space in the trophy case this week.

Time will tell.
