Settled up the accounts this evening...

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

One bag of homemade beef jerky to GOBIGGREEN and he picked up the check {not just my hot dog, but Mrs. 74 as well} at Perfectly Franks.

Then as we were entering the stadium, we met up with CITYSLICKER and I even gave him a small bag since he did tie and lost in the second tiebreaker.

Really enjoyed tonight, meeting with GBG and his wife {lovely lady, GBG surely married up in class}, his brother, his Mom and Dad, Cecil and JC Gator was there as well, not making the trip to Columbia for the Goose Creek -vs- Ridge View match up. Met a couple of other Summerville folks as well.

If you get the opportunity due to scheduling i.e. OPEN WEEK or whatever, make a trip somewhere and Summerville is not a bad choice! Of course, it's not Nixon Field... :)

It was awesome to see R74 again along with his lovely wife. If anyone did not know, R74 can make some jerky!!! I am one happy Summerville fan! College football tomorrow with a large bag of beef jerky within arms reach for the entire day. Have a safe trip back to the upstate Ken...You are a class act!

PS: You simply have to love R74s shirt "Old Geezer formally known as Stud Muffin".

Heck, the entire bag is just about gone if you could believe that :o! We all loved it, ESPECIALLY my son! I was gone for a few hours today to the movies. We went to see that new movie about the De La Salle football team(outstanding movie). When we got home I asked my son to help me unload something from our car. As we were headed in I wanted to thank him for the help and told him to grab some jerky from the frig. He responded "Oh, I have already had some". My ears perked up like a dogs does when he hears something interesting. I asked "Well how did you like it?" His response really scared me. He said "I LOVED IT". The past tense of the verb in that sentence had me thinking the worst. I made a bee line for the frig...my wife got out of my way as I was plowing through our garage. She knew the urgency of the situation. When I opened the frig I found a gallon size ziplock which contained a sandwich size amount of jerky . As my son, Michael, entered the house, he told me I should make some more of it. I had to tell him I did not make this batch and explained to him how I obtained it from you for winning the pickem. I also explained to him that the rest of it was MINE . So no, your jerky WAS awesome!
