Since this is a serious football board let the gurus break it down for me. It should be a heck of a game.

Dorman hasn't been flat all year. The most sluggish performance this year was probably Rock Hill and that was the week before Dutch Fork. Don't know if we played things close to the vest per the game tape or not.

Spartanburg played a great game against Dorman and deserved the win for sure but several things went right for them to be able to win that game. Byrnes looks really good this year. Not the drop off many fans were hoping for with Bobby leaving. Should be a huge crowd at the U. Winner of that game wins region and gets a good treat of a schedule in the post season. Loser gets more of a trick I suppose.

If the Rebels discipline themselves from all these penalties and shut down the Cavs awesome receiver we have a good chance to win.The Rebels cannot have 100 yards or more of penalties against the Cavs.I am looking forward to this game ,I think it will be the biggest game in the upstate. :D

I have watched both teams play several games and Byrnes is at least 3 TDS better than Dorman. Artega Whiteside is excellent, but is the only weapon that Dorman has on offense. Look for Byrnes to shut him down and make the Cavs run the ball. Byrnes on the other hand has one of their best and most underrated defenses ever, and they get better each week.
The only question for Byrnes is the OLine. If they can establish the running game for Hill and give Micah 4 seconds to throw it will be over by halftime.
The Byrnes WR group is one of the best in State history. Richardson, Collins, and Dawkins all have D1 offers and Foster and Bowens are both great too.
It will be a interesting game to watch, but I would be more concerned about a rematch in the playoffs with Northwestern with Hart at QB or Dutch Fork.

Hey, I'm as Byrnes Rebel as you can get, but I think I would take Dorman and 21...

I like it! :D

The last fellow who claimed our upcoming opponent was at least 3 TD's better than us wound up with a mouth full of black feathers the following Saturday. 8-)

Our other receivers will definitely need some stick 'em on their hands Friday night. Too many dropped balls by the rest of the crew. I think Spann will really factor into this game.
