Congrats Byrnes!

A game played in the trenches! Very tense all night long for both sides. Both teams played tough and hard. Both teams made costly mistakes but in the end Byrnes proved to be the better team tonight. The Dorman defense did it's job but so did Byrnes, holding Dorman to 2 TD's and a field goal.

Byrnes had very costly penalties that prevented them from posting a bigger score but Dorman also had penalties that were downright killers for us. Hats off to the Byrnes defense and a great job by their coaches too. Dorman had some great play calling tonight that Byrnes was just all over.

Mixed feelings about playing Byrnes again. Clearly we can hang with them but it won't hurt my feelings if they're eliminated by some one else in the post season.

Peace guys!

Dorman deserved to win the game. I'm not saying they were the better team, but Byrnes had so many penalties that I had already resided to the fact that they were going to lose and would not have been upset if they did. It was rediculous. Also, I don't ever recall Byrnes winning a game with an FG. Amazing.

Agree Dorman should have won that one. The Rebels had 19 penalties for 178 yards and still won the game. :o Great game Cavs! Whiteside is the real deal!

I know kinda what you fellas mean but I can't take much away from the rebels. Your defense held us to 3 points in the 2nd half and prevented us from potentially driving out the clock. Then your offense took what was a great punt for us and they drove down close enough to put the kicker in range. Several factors in the game go a different way and yes, dorman would be the undisputed winner, but the fact is the Rebs overcame a lot tonight.

1st and G messaged me after the clock hit zero and said, "great game! I don't want to play you guys again!"
I replied,"ditto"

Kinda like at the end of Rocky when Apollo says, "Ain't gonna be no rematch." And Rocky says, "Don't want one."

Last I heard it was 191 yards of penalties against Byrnes. And 90% of them were mental errors that should have been fixed by now(Holding..Flase Start..LINED UP IN Neutral Zone). That is a HUGE part of the game that the coaches need to address quickly!!! Its really ebarrassing to watch that mess. Im glad Byrnes won..But, that will not work in the playoffs. PERIOD

But if you will remember, Apollo wanted a rematch after a few days

I can't quite recall. How did that work out for Apollo?

I agree that the last I heard it was 191 penalized yards for Byrnes. :( And I agree that most of these penalties are things that should have been taken care of back at the beginning of the season. But I don't agree that Dorman should have won the game. Gosh, Byrnes helped them out a whole lot with 191 yds and Dorman still didn't win the game. It was a real nail-biter, I'll say that!
