Beaufort is 6-4 and Marlboro County is 5-5. This should be one of the best games this week in the opening of the 3A Playoffs. Does anyone have any thoughts or predictions on this game?

The very first thought..

Which Marlboro County team will you see? Maybe you see both like Conway did.. one in the first half and the other in the second half.

My feelings are, at one point in this game, it may be early or it may not happen until the forth quarter, there will be one play that you will look back on as you ride back to the house, "IF ONLY...." Now will that be "If only we had made that tackle.." or "If only we had made that Interception..." or "If only we hadn't scored on that play..." who knows. But I think it could be a game like the Byrnes -vs- Dorman game where both teams have the chance to win and one play makes the difference. Maybe it is a saving tackle or interception or the offense makes a 4th quarter drive to put it away...

I agree with you Rebel-Fan-74. This game will probably come down to 1 play that decides the game. It will probably come down to who has the ball last. I am really looking forward to this game. It should be a great one!!!!

I believe MC wins big. No offense intended BEF. They played a really rough schedule.

Wow!!!! What a great defensive game this turned out to be. Beaufort had the lead 13-7 with about 4 mins remaining and beaufort's rb fumbled the ball. Marlboro County went on to score and that was the deciding factor. Marlboro County beat Beaufort 14-13. I knew that this was going to be a very close game. Beaufort had their chances to win. But I want to say congrats to the bulldogs on the win. Good luck in the rest of the playoffs.

No offense taking Cavaliereagle. Thanks for your input on the game. But I was wondering why you thought that? I don't know if you read my posts on this game on PFT. But I said all of last week that this game was going to be really close. My Beaufort Eagles have one of the best defenses in the state. Beaufort's defense only gave up an avg of 15 points a game this year. It turned out to be a very good game. I thought that both teams were fairly evenly matched.

Yes you were right about this game Rebel-Fan-74. . Both of us were actually right about this game but I was also wrong too. . I said it was going to be a close game but I was wrong about who won. . It was a great game to watch though.
