I think you might be right I would pick that or Dutch Fork and Hillcrest those are the teams that I think will be there. I don't know a whole lot about Fort D and I am not trying to disrespect their fan base or school but I just don't know how well they will handle the pressure of playing the day after thanksgiving with so much on the line. I also don't know how well Hillcrest will handle that pressure as well and plus you add the the fact that they have to go 3+ hours away to play and the kids being out of school the factors don't bode well for those 2 schools as they have never played this deep into the playoffs

LOL ol 1st sweating DF just a little. Man my team got spanked in the 1st round and I am looking at it from a perspective of who really is the best match up. Congrats on a great win last night 1st sounded like a great game hate I didn't get to be there in person

Of course I pull for Byrnes; I can't help it. But one of my best friends played for Hillcrest in the early 1960's. Another good friend is a strong businessman in Spartanburg is also a Hillcrest graduate. I hope Hillcrest and Byrnes do play in William Brice Stadium!

Im sure if your team was playin DF this season you would be sweatin it a bit too. For me the game is a toss up. It could go either way.

I just hope the Byrnes O shows up like the Byrnes D does. I also hope for goof refs this time. The ones for the NW game were pathetic.

I also have some worries on D as Byrnes will still be without 2 of the starters. Byrnes was without them Friday night and at times it showed. Mainlt just both sides comes out healthy and the refs dont go brain dead. ;)

Anyone who is not concerned is either stupid {and we all know you can't fix stupid} or they telling a lie.

You get to this point in the season, only four teams left, and they are four "proven" teams. Now, some have had an easier route to this point than others, but they are still one of four teams standing so, they are "proven" as far as I'm concerned. If I were to rank the chances of winning it all, I think I would have do rank them in this order:

#1 - Dutch Fork
#2 - Byrnes
#3 - Fort Dorchester
#4 - Hillcrest

Reasons:

Dutch Fork is at home and you know they will have a full stadium. Byrnes is without two starters on "D" and the Offense has not been playing as well as you'd like for Playoff Games. Slight edge to Dutch Fork. If this were the State Championship game at Williams Brice, I'd say straight up 50 - 50 game.

On the other side, Fort Dorchester is home and I think has played just a bit tougher schedule than Hillcrest. I do see this one as a 51% - 49% type game. If they were playing at Hillcrest, I would give a slight edge to Hillcrest and if it were on a neutral field, I may favor Hillcrest. That's how close it appears to me.

That tougher schedule gets me everytime..... but we jus gonna show up and do what we do#unfinshedbuisness.......ill take being an underdog to the #1seed at home... its time to see what we are made of....i guess this would be our toughest opponent yet....
