Goodman hopes to make impression at NFL combine

Malliciah Goodman is ready to impress NFL scouts and personnel.

The former West Florence and Clemson standout is one of 334 invitees taking part in the NFL combine, which runs Feb. 23-26 in Indianapolis and will be televised on the NFL Network.

FLORENCE — Malliciah Goodman said this week he wouldn’t mind staying close to home to begin his NFL career.

On Saturday, Goodman got his wish as the Atlanta Falcons took the former West Florence and Clemson defensive end with the 30th pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
