Spartanburg, Greer, Dillon & Christ Church To Begin Football Season Ranked Number One In Respective Classes By The HSSR

Moncks Corner--With the return of rising senior running back Tavien Feaster and the field leadership of quarterback Austin Scott, Spartanburg comes into the 2015 pre-season ranked number one in Class AAAA by The High School Sports Report.

The Vikings will play in the final year of AAAA having two divisions and they are the defending Div. II AAAA champions. This will be the final season for two divisions in Class A and AA as well as a new five classification system begins in 2016.

John Simpson and Chris Morales are two next level offensive linemen expected to make all-star teams when the season is over.

Funny, 3 teams ranked ahead of Byrnes in this poll, Byrnes beat last year. That's cool though, Byrnes will just beat them again, no big deal. ;)

I sure hope so. I don't have any inside info, but I know we have some big shoes to fill on both sides of the ball. I'm hopeful that our strength & conditioning program has some rising seniors up to the challenge.

We travel down to Fort Dorchester in week 0, much will be revealed. :ugeek:

I know south has all its receivers coming back including Vereen and that 6'6 kid a tight end the question mark is going to be at qb and running back

[Again, I don't know anything.] We should see senior Michael Grimsley #24 carrying the load at RB and senior Lindsey Robinson #3 at QB. Neither of them has had a lot of varsity playing time, backing-up Brunson and Jones for the last couple of years.

Hey B#1, that is what Bulletin Boards were made for...

How many starters does Byrnes return this year? I believe that I recall the QB being a Junior last year?

A little surprised to see South Florence ranked that high after losing their QB. Big vote of confidence from the media about the state of the Bruins' program.

SF Band dad is correct,
much will be revealed when #5 South Florence pays a visit to #2 Fort Dorchester in Week 0.
Huge game as far as the rankings are concerned.

Do not mess with DFACTOR or he will write a song about you and your team . But you are right about that being a big game in Week 0. We all know however that the most important games come later in the year once region play starts.

There is no questions about the QB and RB at South. Robinson has been lights out so far in pre-season and his back up is just as good if not better IMO. If RB Mike Grimsley breaks away, I believe there isn't too many ppl that will catch him. We will definitely be tested in week 0 against Fort D and I believe we'll be ready.
