Any Rebs going to Riverside

If anyone is going to the game and wants to have supper before the game at Merrells Pizza. Their pizza is probably some of the best around and the Mrs and I wanted to go 2 years ago before the game but 85 South traffic killed that one. We are just gonna hit 29 all the way to Riverside this time. The invitation is out there if you wanna drop by. I figured us Rebs could use a little fun after last week. A good meal and hopefully the Rebs will ball out and we can all enjoy ourselves.

Man I love me some rebel football and I was so excited when the schedule come out cause I didn't think I would miss a game. I missed the gaffney game cause my daughter had surgery and then came the week of the spartan high game I was so pumped all week win or lose I knew it would be a great game and I couldn't wait...then Thursday morning at 8:15 my mama passed away.whew what pain I thought I was prepared as she had been sick for a while but I was not at all.my life is upside down right now and I'm not sure if I'll make another game anytime soon.I should go though it might be good to get away for awhile

Would love to take up the invite, but im gonna be sliding in right before kickoff. Having to cover one of my practice's office that I usually don't work at on Friday, so it will be a grab something fast kind of Friday night.

88 I'm so sorry for your loss brother. I'll keep you in my prayers. If you feel up to it... It really might do you some good to make the short drive up. Riverside isn't a bad place to catch a game at. It's one of the better venues in Greenville County. Take it easy friend. If you do make it to the game just look for the 62.

I totally understand man.. Work over pleasure. We all need to seriously get together before the Mauldin game or something. I'd love to meet all you guys and grab a bite to eat. I don't know if I'll be around next year because we live 30 miles from my wife's job and she got a promotion which means she has to leave earlier in the morning so she doesn't have to stay longer at night. If you know anything about Simpsonville and that 85 traffic morning and afternoon you can feel her pain. We were going to build a house in District 5 and sell a couple of our rental properties to pay for the build but all the houses are being built on top of each other and I've had neighbors 4 years longer than I wanted to.

Go to the game! Trust me, it will get your mind off the misery, even if only temporary. Time heals all, but you really need to do things like this to ease your mind until some time has passed. Best wishes to you, your family and friends.

CE is correct. Don't stop living bro, they wouldn't want you to and its the worse thing you can do. I know it sounds impossible, but living your life is the best thing.

Brother one thing "I" will always be is a Rebel. I busted my hump all summer to get the rally going to keep the Rebel name intact forever. I kept very good conversations with Ms Jones from the Naacp and showed her there was no reason whatsoever why the name should change, and also opened up her eyes that the entire community not matter the race supported the Rebels. I counted that as a huge victory #REBELNATION. Nothing is set in stone about moving matter of fact none of us wants to leave... this is our home. I'm looking just about every spare second I can for a decent piece of land. I mean my wife and I are young parents who have literally tried to give the kids the best we could, and now that my oldest son will be going to college next year we actually can put down some permanent roots and we would love to stay here. We've been here almost 10 years now. We just want some peace and quiet where we plan on building our forever home... We just want it to be us and mother nature. I'm more than 100% sure we will still be here, but oh I don't know how much more griping I can take about 85 and 385 traffic.

Awesome, I just want you to see when the Rebels are rolling up state titles. We will dominate again, might not be this year or next, but its gonna happen soon.
