I've seen a bunch of game at Nixon Field, probably around 175 that I remember in my 28 years on this earth. Well, probably more, but I cant recall the first couple of years of my life. The game with Mallard Creek was a craziest final 30-40 secs that I've ever seen at Nixon field.

The craziest final I can remember was 06 round 3 of the playoffs at the old reservation against Spartanburg we are down 3 I think and they stop us on the 1 and they they go to run a QB sneak and the QB fumbled the ball we recover it and we then turned around and scored now the funniest thing about this was when we were stopped the fans started filing out they thought it was over when they fumbled they started running back in

Wasn't it 05, 2006 was when Byrnes and Gaffney had those epic battles?

2000 season opener with Dorman at Lexington. Demetrious Summers was Lexington RB. Lexington was ahead with only seconds to play. Dorman has the ball and Trey Rogers throws a long TD pass to Steven Callicutt to win the game. I had some friends that were already on I-26 that thought we lost until they heard the score report. We've never lost to Lexington since that 1st meeting. I also remember that Nick Prochak fumble at Gaffney

Last minute vs MC has to be top on my list, 2nd would be Coach Lane giving everyone at Nixon a heart attack when he went for 2 points in OT to beat NW last year. Most heart breaking was losing to DF at Nixon in the playoffs Bentleys last game. Most scared and life changing moment was when we were playing Apopka and the QB had to be air lifted out of Nixon.

Seen two crazy finishes with NW. One being last year and the other in 2003 at Nixon during the regular season. Byrnes was riding a 14 game winning streak, just won the first title of the run and was going for the 2nd one that year. We went up 3 in OT and NW got the ball. NW's RB had a clear lane to the endzone, but for some reason about a yard from the goal line, he dropped the ball and we fell on it. Winning 27-24. Place went bonkers.

The craziest had to be the end of the Gaffney/Greenwood tear gas game..

You mean the part where Gaffney showed up at a field and Greenwood didn't?

2014 SWANSEA playing at 96. SWANSEA leading by 7
with a little over a minute left in the game.they
had the ball on 96 35 with 4th and 6 .instead of
just running the ball they try a pass.96 picks it
off and runs for a td,go for 2 and win the game.
