BS has found something since the Byrnes game. Their qb, Byrnes transfer, is reallyyyy good. I believe also that spartanburg is learning you can't win every game just on talent. SHS offensive coaching is and always has been suspect.

The game ended this way
BS scores with around 5 minutes to play to go up 20/13
Spartanburg drives to the BS 30 but BS intercepts a Scott pass with around 2:30 to play on the 13 yard line
Spartanburg really screws up clock management and lets clock run on 1st down and then after a penalty.
BS has 2/23 from the 5 with 153 to play and gain 7
On 3rd down SHS uses their last TO, BS has 3rd and 16 and runs a simple quarterback counter keeper. Streeter keeps it and takes it for 25 yards and and a 1st down
2 knell downs and the game is over.

You have to tip your hats to the Bulldogs.
Sounded like it was nothing flukely and even the SHS radio guys said BS was the better team over 4 quarters.
Looking at that stat page, I wonder why Feaster was not more involved. He would carry it 40 times a game in my backfield. And be targeted another 10 in the passing game.

No. 17 Spartanburg rallies, but falls to Boiling Springs in huge upset
USA TODAY High School Sports -- October 16, 2015
The top team in South Carolina and the No. 17 team in the Super 25 has fallen.
After being held scoreless in the first half, Spartanburg rallied to tie but an interception in the red zone in the final minutes stopped an attempt at a game-tying drive and Boiling Springs pulled off the 20-13 victory Friday.

Spartantburg's high powered offense is scoreless in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters. How did that happen?

Boiling Springs had a game plan to defend the pass.. only rushed 3 linemen.. what people don't realize is that they (Spartanburg) don't rely on the running game much.. they use Feaster, Scott, etc in the passing game then every once in a while run Feaster for the home run.. the Dogs used the 3-3-5 Defense last night just like Coach Miller used against High Powered Gaffney in the 2011 Championship game... I guess they gave him a dose of his own medicine. On offense, B Springs played ball control.. they have a tough lil running back named Brendan Robinson.. the kid is one of the most underrated players I've seen.. he played his heart out last night, and Mason Streeter the Quarterback transfer from Byrnes is a baller.. he managed the game, ran the ball when he needed to and didn't make mistakes.
