Good scenario, although I think either DF will win their region and good chance Conway takes region 6. Which I am rooting for that. I want a NW-Byrnes state title game. I am assuming either or both of those scenarios would drop Byrnes to the 6 or 7 seed and into the lower part of the bracket.

Dutch Fork winning out was going to be my first alternative "What If" bracket. I'll post it later tonight or in the morning.

Will also check out Conway winning region 6.....see how the brackets shuffle.

Starting to check out some 3A teams getting from 5 to 6 wins and how it might help certain teams.
For instance, Union County was one that I had glanced at in regards to Gaffney.
It didn't appear that it would help the 3-way tie for 2nd place in Region 3 in this projection.
York looks like they could have the most points if tied with Nation Ford and Gaffney.
Gaffney can still win Region 3 by winning out.

4A Projection Week 8 - Dutch Forks wins Region Four


Top 3 seeds in D1 are really close.
Northwestern needs to win Region 3, Beat Gaffney.
--While opponents Gaffney and Woodside(VA)(5-2) get to 6 wins for #1 seed to occur. (win by 1/2 pt.)
--Woodside(VA) will also have to be classified as Big 16 by Northwestern and the SCHSL.
If certain parts of this don't happen. Northwestern could fall to #2 or #3.

In this projection,
Fort D and Dutch Fork tie in points; Fort D gets the nod for #2 by the narrowest of margins in Opponent Wins.
This could go either way, but I give a slight edge to Fort D at this moment.

I don't like your projections they stink lol jk i liked 74's better cause he had us projected to play Byrnes again which would be awesome cause we would get another crack at them and not have to go all the way down to the lower state and beat up on them teams

I don't like these projections either, I don't see my Easley Green Wave.

Also,
I was asked about Ashley Ridge winning Region 8.
They could be anywhere from #1 to #4 seed by winning Region 8.
-Northwestern can outpoint you.
-Dutch Fork will likely get you on opponent wins, if they win Region 4.
-Byrnes would outpoint you if they got into a three way tie for the Region 2 title.

So my best guess would be #3. If Dutch Fork loses then you would move to #2.

Fort D would fall somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 or 7.

So, what are the odds of that happening? I got us in second, but my Bulldog friends are telling me they win out....

Just looking at like scores between FD and AR I think FD easily wins that matchup. FD wins Region VIII. After that, anything is possible. I hope to see a revived Summerville team tomorrow night which could throw a monkey wrench into the mix.
