Majority may say Northwestern vs. Spartanburg for D2 state title game but i would like to hear which two teams others feel will make it to D2 state title game ? I think TL Hanna vs Northwestern based on the projected playoff brackets.

Just like the TL Hanna over Westside prediction? If NW vs Spartanburg doesn't happen, it would be a huge shock, probably the biggest since Byrnes beat Gaffney in 2011.

Well i went to the TL Hanna vs Westside game and TL Hanna should've won had the coaching staff had decided to keep running the ball in overtime. They had over 200 yards rushing on the night and had 3rd and goal from the 2 yard line in overtime but decided to pass and it was intercepted. They will be a team that can go far if the coaching decisions improve come playoff time.

I would say as long as NW doesn't have a blow-up game, they should make it to the D2 game without many issues. With NW, those games are few and far in between. Since Coach Richardson has been there, I would say only the Gaffney game last year is the only one that I know of where they lost a game they really shouldn't have. As for Spartanburg, they need to play to their highest level every week. As defending champs, they still have that bulls eye on their back. Hopefully the BS game was their blow-up game and that is out of their system.

IF...and I mean IF....NW plays Spartanburg in Columbia, IMHO the deciding matchup will be Spartanburg's ability to avoid the NW defensive line and PASS on NW's weak-against-the-pass secondary.

They did run it 3 downs and were kept out of the endzone, the final play was 4th from 5 yard line.
Personally I would LOVE to see a TLH/WHS game for the final but that is a long shot, not out of the question but is a long shot
TLH is very talented and YOUNG and I honestly look for them to dominate the Region the next 2/3 years and have a yearly battle with WHS.
This is great for the 2 city schools in Anderson, Lord knows it has been a long time coming

True but i think had they ran their jumbo package they have on 3rd and goal from the 2 yard line it wouldve been a different outcome cause 2 of their biggest and athletic defensive linemen would have come into the game to lead block in the backfield.

First of all , I like most would love to see this game . I think NW as of right now may be playing the best football in the state and since the QB change the offense is in high gear. Will not put their front over Byrnes but it is pretty close but like one poster said the secondary is not strong and therefore this would give Tha Burg a chance ! Byrnes fans know in the Big Game it's Miller Time and he will find a way to slow the Air Raid down just enough to win Back to Back titles !!!
