Byrnes/Dorman & Northwestern/Nation Ford rematches

It has been said many times that it is hard to beat a team twice in one year.
As for the NW / NF game, the first game NF exploited our secondary. Cole Martin had 60 passing attempts and a big ZERO sacks by the NW defense. He is a pocket passer and has yet to show any inclination to run, nor to hurt anyone with his running ability. That being said, he was mobile enough to scramble and hit open receivers, who were breaking off their routes and the NW db's were not sticking to their coverages.
The NW offense, over time, established control of the line of scrimmage and used the strength of our rushing attack to seal the victory. It was a tough game.
What adjustments will be made by each team? NW didn't play as well as they had in other games and NF's coach, Mike Allen, said after the game they had played about as well as they could. Hmmmm.....adjustments to adjustments for this one.
Still, I like NW by at least 14.
Byrnes / Dorman. This year, I have not paid nearly as much attention to Region 2 as I have to Region 3. Byrnes is Byrnes is Byrnes and we all know the standard they have set for many years now. Byrnes, Spartanburg, and Dutch Fork have been Dorman's nemesis of late. Dorman easily put away DF last week....one monkey off their back. Spartanburg is D2.....second monkey off their back. Then there is Byrnes. Simply put, these teams know each other. Again, who will make the adjustments from the previous game? Who will step up unexpectedly....who who won't? Mental mistakes, penalties, turnovers, and gasp...maybe even the officials???? This could/should be quite a game.
Still, I think Byrnes will step it up and win by at least 8.
I sit back and await everyone else's 2 cents on these games
