This kid came out of nowhere about midway through the season and became one of the best receivers in the state. Starting the season he wasn't on anyone's radar so I wasn't sure what kind of offer he would get if any, but I'm happy to see him stay in state and even happier to see him become a Gamecock...now if we can only get Joyner to join him

Good for him!! Muschamp is doing work in State, I like it! The realization that this state loses many of it's best athletes to outside schools is imperative... Dunlap going to Florida was one of the biggest in recent memory.

Yeah I hate seeing our best go out of state. Clemson or Carolina i'd much rather see a talented kid in SC than anywhere else. That said if I was a top athlete with my choice of schools - I'd be at Oregon (or UCLA to be close to family lol).

Well Joyner is warm on Oregon according to his scouting profile...didn't notice that until today so that's great. I'm not necessarily an Oregon fan but have you seen their 68 million dollar training facility? Your boy might like this lol " target="_blank
Maybe I'd feel different at 18 but at 28 that looks like a vacation to me lol. If I was Joyner getting to play in that offense would also be a huge factor...but anyway I'm getting off track. I'm glad Champagne got this offer...Since I follow Carolina I would love to see Simpson and Champagne both at Carolina and get joined by Joyner a few years after that (but if I was Joyner I'd still go to Oregon )
