Gaffney is battle tested through a tough Region 3 schedule and tough non region games.

Will Gaffney rest on its victory over Northwestern or will they be able to emotionally regroup against Hillcrest?

Gaffney was able to play a one-dimensional defense against Northwestern's one-dimensional offense.

Will Hillcrest be able to play a balanced enough passing/rushing game to make Gaffney play a straight up defense?

What changes have Hillcrest made during the season to improve? Gaffney has made adjustments and has gotten stronger as the season has progressed.

Lots of questions :-)

Bottom line------Gaffney wins.....imho

Just looking through Hillcrest's Box Scores, you can see the improvement of their team.
Especially the stats of the Hillcrest Qb from early to later.

The first time that these two teams played...
Gaffney controlled the line of scrimmage.
Hillcrest only had 20 yards rushing while Gaffney rushed for 319.
Gaffney also had 5 sacks in the first meeting.

This time the Home Field advantage goes to the Rams....
One of my least favorite places to watch a game. Hillcrest's visiting stands sit very low, even the top row of the grandstands feel barely even with the top of the crown of the field. Horrible angles to view a game. :(
Not to mention the handful of locals that they allow to sit on the visiting side that normally treat the visitors with snarky comments throughout the game. I'm guessing that won't happen for this game against Gaffney or they might as well park the Live PD film crew at the stadium.

Good Luck to the Indian posters! :!:

All is quiet on the Indian front....
Confident I presume.

Want to pick goofy, but my gut tells me to go with the Rams. Hillcrest in a close one.

To make it even more interesting, look at Gaffney breakdown this way:

AT HOME
ON THE ROAD

Or maybe

First 5 games
Last 5 games

They are a different team at home {not talking about getting all the close calls here, they just play better at home} than they are on the road; and they have grown up as the season progressed.

Hillcrest grew up as well. If I am at a game tonight, it will be at Simpsonville on the home side {Hillcrest visitor side is in a hole?} but I will be pulling for Gaffney. I think this is much different than the 42-7 game earlier this year..... close but I'm still going with my Region 3 bias and picking Gaffney.
