-All 5 classifications have at least one participant that was in the title game last year.
-Including 2 classifications (3A and 4A) where we have rematches.
-7 out of the 10 teams playing for State Titles also played for them last year.
-4 out of the 5 classifications have teams with an opportunity to repeat as State Champions.

Teams in BOLD were in the State Title game last year.
5A- Dutch Fork vs. Dorman
4A- Hartsville vs. South Pointe
3A- Dillon vs. Chapman
2A- Bamberg-Ehrhardt vs. Abbeville
1A- Baptist Hill vs. Lamar

5A Dutch Fork, 4A South Pointe, 3A Chapman, and 2A Abbeville are all defending state champions in their respective classifications.

Answer: All 5 Classifications had champions repeat in the 1983 and 1984 seasons.
