The official Region 2 Tie Breaker is as follows

POINT DIFFERENTIAL AT THE END OF THE 3RD QUARTER
(not points allowed or scored but the difference in score at the end of the 3rd.

Dorman 19 Gaffney 14 end of 3rd (Dorman +5 and Gaffney-5)
Dorman 38 Byrnes 31 end of 3rd (Dorman +7 and Byrnes -7)
Byrnes 27 Gaffney 14 end of 3rd (Byrnes + 13 and Gaffney -13)

TOTALS
Dorman + 12
BYRNES + 6
GAFFNEY - 18

I have confirmed this with 2 different sources and have this as accurate and the way it will be decided.
It was confirmed with a schools AD and a prep football reporter.
Region 2 DOES NOT USE the SCHSL Tie Breaker.

This is now complete as these 3 teams have played one another and the point totals cannot change.

If / When Dorman beats Mauldin and Riverside the Cavs will have the 1 seed.
If Byrnes beats Hillcrest and Boling Springs and Dorman wins out the Rebels will be the 2 seed
If Gaffney beats BS and The Vikings and Dorman and Byrnes win out they will be the 3 seed.

Gaffney cannot be the 2 seed (except in an upset Dorman loss) but could be the 1 seed if Byrnes loses once and Gaffney wins out
then Gaffney would be the 1 seed by virtue of the win over Dorman.

They can spin whatever way they want in Spartanburg County but the team has to come through them Indians, Good luck bc you will need it.

I saw a Rebel team go through that Indian team like a......... well ...........nevermind.

MaxPreps has it at Dorman 56 Boiling Springs 7.

Boiling Springs has two very big games coming up with Gaffney and Byrnes.

Boiling Springs has two very big games coming up with Gaffney and Byrnes.

It was 56-7, Chance Black ran back a kick return at the beginning of the third quarter, then after that Gutshall ended up putting the 2nd & 3rd string in to end the game.

The 3-way tie is predicated on Dorman, Byrnes, and Gaffney all finishing with identical 7-1 records.

If Boiling Springs was to beat Gaffney and or Byrnes then 7-1 3-way ties do not exist.

Dorman / Gaffney 2 way tie goes to Gaffney (Gaffney win over Dorman)
Dorman / Boiling Springs (BS wins out) 2-way ties goes to Dorman (Dorman beat BS)
Dorman / Byrnes 2 way tie goes to Dorman

Please note Boiling Springs has beaten no one this year and has built a 4 and 1 record feasting on the bottom of the region

I really don't see anything BS has done this year to think they will beat Gaffney or Byrnes

Teams boiling springs lost 2 ? am I looking at 23-1 win loss record , All played in state championship game last year. Trying to make sense of the nonsense. Turn ur Radio on when you get to Anderson.
