The long bus ride of despair...
…isn't as long as it used to be now that 5A is using upper & lower state brackets.
The "
winner" of South Florence @ St. James game will secure 4th place and the coveted "long bus ride of despair" to play Dutch Fork in the first round.
[Edited] Elsewhere in region 6:
- Socastee has secured the basement.
- A 3-way tie is still possible if Conway defeats W Florence (not likely) and Carolina Forest defeats Socastee (very likey).

Save the gas .you play the stripes and the foxes there.
Entire Dorchester county will tell you the same.
I still think they are actually very good on top of that.

Not going to happen but a Conway win over WF and it’s a 3 way tie. From what I understand if Conway win by 20 points or more they are the region champions and WF is runner up. If it’s less than 20 CF is champion and Conway second.

I think Conway can beat WF. Just not sure if they will.

Oops, you are right. I had the win/losses wrong. A 3-way tie is still possible. I'll edit the initial post.

We graduated probably the best senior class we ever had last year and the coaching failed them. This year should be a 7-8 win team and make the playoffs but again coaching failed the kids. We are no threat till this situation plays out and we can hire a proven coach. Not coach bashing but just being honest about the situation.
