Some believe this is the game of the year in the upstate. I haven't seen Byrnes this year but heard they can score some points. Don't know much about their defense or special teams.

I've seen better Gaffney offenses over the years vs what they have this year. Mostly due to being young at the QB position. They have one of the best defensive lines I've seen this year especially when greenwood played them. Got held to negative yardage on offense. Should be a great game. I'd give the edge to Gaffney just because of their defense.

Gaffney better come up with more than 6 plays to win this one.
Byrnes wins 25-13

This one is about as even as it gets. This one could come down to one of two things:

#1 - Someone makes a critical mistake, missed extra point, turnover, costly penalty, etc

#2 - The old adage, "It's hard to beat a good team twice in the same season!"

Dorman beat Byrnes, Byrnes beat Gaffney and Gaffney beat Dorman. Each time, the home team won. That should tell you just how close these three teams are if you look at the big picture. In the first game, Byrnes won 34-14 but I don't see it being anywhere near that this time. Both teams have developed and grown since the first meeting. Gaffney didn't look good at Woodmont, but a 9-1 team having to travel to play a 5-5 team was enough to cause those issues. Gaffney didn't want to be there and with bad weather and a bad field, getting motivated was difficult. They bounced back against a much better Rock Hill team at D3 stadium. The Rebels have had trouble getting started and a slow start tomorrow night may be too much to overcome. They need to come out of the opening kick off ready to go and going full speed. The game could be a 14-10 game since both teams have a great defense, but it could be a 35-34 game just as easily with all that speed and talent on the field.

I would be willing to take either team and 10.5 points.
