Not sure what kind of talent he'll inherit but he greatly benefited from the athletes at Havelock. Had 5/6 D1 players last year and another half a dozen this year.

King was at East Carteret two years before returning as the HC at Havelock. EC had been very weak since Donnie Kieffer (won 2018 SC 1A state) left and King led them to 11 and 12 wins after averaging two wins a year for the last seven seasons.

They've done pretty well since he left.

I'm sure he is good. Easley might be a good challenge for him. Not sure of the number of students and demographics. There are tons of schools out there that are under achievers, maybe Easley fits that bill, we will see

Ok here's a better question since Easley hasn't been that good how long does the school board and the administration of the school have to give him to make sure that his way is not working I say you have to give him atleast 8 years. You know the 1st and 2nd year are going to be trying to change the mindset and the culture and im saying 2 years because of the lack of wins and the mindset being it doesn't matter.

Judging by that conference, I think he'll surprise some people the first few years. Five other teams finished with 5< wins.

My bet is that he overachieves early and gets a phone call from some of the bigger dogs in SC.

Interesting tidbit -- His former school and Dillon signed a multi-year contract to play (this year and next year). Both games will be AT Dillon.

if the players are there, 1 year will do it partially, and 2 completely

building from nothing 3 years

sometimes a culture change is all that is needed

8 years seems excessive
